The Achieve Zone LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the trivia app known as KnowFly.Zone, also referred to as Know Fly Zone, TheKnowFly.Zone, or The Know Fly Zone (hereafter collectively referred to as the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our App, website, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: If you register, we collect your email, username, and (optional) exact birth date.

  • Your exact birth date is used only internally to place you in the correct age group (e.g., 13–17, 18–25). Only age ranges are shown publicly on leaderboards.

Gameplay Data: We track your trivia progress, scores, leaderboards, and achievements.

Location Information (Optional): You may add your city, province, and country to appear in leaderboard filters (e.g., "Top players in Barcelona, Spain"). This is optional, incentivized with tokens, and never sold.

Device Information: Anonymous data such as device type, operating system, and app usage (via Firebase Analytics).

Advertising Data: Google AdMob may collect information to serve ads.

Communications: If you contact support, we collect your email and message content.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate and improve the App.
  • To display leaderboards and rankings (using only usernames, age ranges, and optional location).
  • To show ads (unless you upgrade to an ad-free subscription).
  • To send account or gameplay-related communications.
  • To process in-app purchases and subscriptions.

3. Ads

  • The free version of KnowFly.Zone is supported by ads through Google AdMob.
  • Users cannot opt out of ads unless they purchase an ad-free subscription.
  • You may, however, opt out of personalized ads (interest-based) in your device settings. This will result in generic ads being shown instead.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your data. We may share with:

  • Service Providers: Google AdMob (ads), Firebase (analytics), Stripe (payments), SendGrid or other email providers we may use for communications.
  • Legal Reasons: If required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Payments

  • Purchases and subscriptions are processed securely by Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe.
  • We do not store or have access to your payment card details.

6. Children's Privacy

  • The App is not directed to children under 13.
  • Users under 13 may only use the App with supervision from a parent or guardian.
  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such data, it will be deleted.

7. Data Retention

  • We retain your data as long as your account is active.
  • If you request account deletion, all personal and gameplay data will be deleted within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data.
  • Opt out of personalized ads.
  • Request deletion of your account.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
